Update on sculpture Commissions and why I'm taking them.

I miss my family. A LOT. It's summer, and I owe them a visit. My quest for a job has been without success and I need money in order to get a plane ticket. So I'm opening sculpture commissions because I can make them within a week, I enjoy working on them and I want to do something fun.

I have 13 pairs of glass eyes, which means I can make 13 sculptures. (duh, lol) I am looking to August to visit them. Ticket prices seem to be around 400ish, and I suppose even if I never have enough to visit them, I can use that money to help pay for a college course, since I want to get back into school.

So technically, I'll have 13 slots open, but here is some important info you need to know.

10 of these glass eye pairs, are blue eyes.

1 pair is clear/white

1 is red

1 is orangey yellow.

3 of the glass eyes are slit eyes.

The size of the eyes decides the size of the sculpture and base price.

Eyes #2 & 3 will be sculptures with a base price of $40 bit if your character has some complicated things it will cost more. Those will be about the size of this guy, Fritz (the maned wolf) Look at these photos.

#1-4-6-7-8-10-11-13 eyes will give you a sculpture slightly larger than Fritz, like my first Wolf of Shadows. Those will start at $45

Eyes #8 will give you a sculpture slightly smaller than the tiger sculpture. Look at the reference photos for eyes size 2 & 3.

For eyes #5 the base price will be $55 and will be slightly larger than the tiger.

I might change pricing if people think it's too high or I'm not getting any people, or could raise them if I am getting a few people but still don't have enough to book a flight.

Things to keep in mind: I don't have an airbrush, and the paint might look a little patchy. I will be working on one sculpture at a time, so I'm not sure when you could expect to have your sculpture shipped to you. If you commission me, include your home address.

Payment will be through paypal, and you'll be paying for it before you get it. I'll send you WIP shots so you can tell me if things need fixing before it's finished. Note me here on dA with which eyes/price/size you want and include reference photos of your character.

I'm going to post updates on which eyes get taken so people don't try and pick the same eyes.

Also, about shipping, that might add to the price, if I had a job I could cover the cost of shipping, but I can't foot it. I'll update this page with that info soon.
