Sting the jumping spider

Same spider as the other photo. He had eaten a large cricket that day. He doesn't normally look like a gravid adult female. Haha.

He's sitting on my hand here, under a lamp. He loooves basking in the heat. And yup, thats a blob of drool in his mouth. Not sure why it's there.

I love jumping spiders. I am going to add a few more photos of each one of my spiders. And so far, everyone in my family who used to be terrified of spiders, has held one of them. It's so funny how scared we are of something smaller than a quarter, and how tolerant a spider is of being held by a squishy, hot blooded giant thing.
